So I've got this new true crime obsession and like all of my best obsessions lately, it started

with a trip, a work trip. I mean, even when the world feels like a massive dumpster fire,

and it does, it does, it is chaos out there. Even then,

when I travel, I tend to get out of my head and out of my comfort zone. And I just, I find new

sparks. I find new things that interest me. I get inspired to write new stories and to dig into old stories.

And I just, I kind of come alive again. Which is ironic because this is a story about someone being unalived.

This is a murder story. It is true crime. like I said. And honestly, I got to say,

if I didn't already do the ultimate Utah Western-based original Tradwife murder mystery,

then I definitely would have written a book based off this. I would have. I mean, maybe I still will.

Who knows? Or maybe I'll do a whole true crime podcast season on this. I had never heard about this case before.

Maybe you have, it is the story of Corey Richens. Corey is a Utah mom and an author, author, in air quotes,

who was accused and has now been convicted of poisoning her husband with

fentanyl and then writing a children's book about grief to help her kids cope with his death

that she caused. So just sit with that for a minute. It is also one of the sloppiest alleged crimes

that I've ever heard of. But also,
