So I am 45. I have three children, 13, 11, and 8, all girls.

They, sorry, my parents have been divorced since I was 11, so over 30 years. They've both been remarried for 20 plus years and they have a, they don't have a lovely relationship.

So when my children were little

and I would have birthday parties,

I would invite both of them.

However, a few years into it, my mother,

she wasn't nice, she would kind of cause a scene

and just was having a hard time with, I I think my dad and his wife being there and you

know she is like the really primary grandparents really close to my kids really

close to me a wonderful mother wonderful wonderful grandmother, she's a great

grandmother also she's amazing. However she's just not amazing with my father.

So my father and my stepmother stopped coming to my kids birthday parties and that

was okay because we would you

know try to celebrate in other ways or see them here there wherever. So fast

forward it's been 10 plus years and I guess I'm calling to see if inviting

both of them is still okay or if I should not invite my mother because her
