I got a lot of things I want to discuss with you and it's been a while. Glad to sit down.

If you missed last episode, it was a big one. It was a New Year's resolution. Hey, New

Year New Me slash Harry Potter ranked slash something else. I can't remember. How did big

episode? It was like an hour and a half. It's been a while since I've just sat down and recorded

for like 90 minutes. So go check that out if you haven't already. Yeah, like I said, I've

got some stuff on my mind. Excited to talk some Matt Reeves, a little JJ Abrams. I've

had a lot of JJ Abrams on my mind lately. And it's more fitting than ever because yesterday,

they released that Star Trek 4 is in production with the Kelvin timeline, the JJ Abrams cast.

And I was very, very excited by that news. I don't have much else to say on that other

than I did notice that there's a new cast and crew behind the story. And it's a Matt

Shackman from WandaVision is involved. And of course, JJ Abrams is involved in some

capacity. I'm, I'm certain he's not directing. I think they probably actually released that.

But I don't really follow movie news the way that I used to anymore. It's like, okay,

I read the headline and then I wait for the movie kind of thing. But I'm sure this is

in here somewhere. It kind of surprised me because, you know, it was what three or four

years ago when they tried, they had two competing Star Trek 4 projects. It was the Tarantino

versus the Kelvin timeline sequel. And then they didn't move forward with either one. And

if I'm remembering it correctly, maybe there was like a Noah Holly one that was being

operated like outside of the Kelvin timeline or maybe he was the Kelvin timeline. Well,

I can't remember exactly. But yeah, there was a lot of Star Trek 4 talk like three or four

years ago. And it just went away. Okay. So Matt Shackman is directing the next Star Trek movie.
