Up until 2020 I had a career and was doing quite well on my own despite being married we were banks dual income no kid.

My husband had always had a successful career in real estate and for the past seven years he had a business partner in which they bought owned operated and then sold apartment buildings.

In the height of COVID they sold a couple buildings and made quite a bit of money between the two of them. I think it's important to note that the financial split of the earnings was 75% to his partner and 25% to us.

The 75% of his partner made put him and his family into a wealth bracket that allowed him to retire indefinitely. It did not however do that for us.

So my husband being sort of stunned and befuddled by this news that his partner was wanting to sort of hang it up and retire.

He said, do you know how much money is enough? I was trying to think of a woody answer and he goes a little bit more.

2:12.0

So I'm wondering he made money from this deal. He was doing very well selling real estate and stuff and that wasn't enough.

2:25.0

For the talk of the Lord it was for me. It wasn't for my husband.

2:29.0

Wow.

2:31.0

Well, I guess it's like this guy just a little bit more.

2:43.0

Okay.

2:46.0

Okay.

2:49.0

So everything was going well until about seven weeks ago when my husband decided to place a rather large bet and we lost 80% of our liquid assets assets in the regional bank crash slash crisis.

3:13.0

While we still have, I'll say enough money. Our situation is now not as stable and as you might imagine I now feel like sitting duck, especially with a two and a half year old son and I quit my job so I don't make my own money anymore and our soul source of income is money that he is now making day trading.

3:41.0

My question for you is in my sort of panic and scared moments of all of this and sort of being it being quite fresh.

3:53.0

I'm considering going to get my real estate life real estate life.
