0:16.8	All right. So my husband is addicted to his cell phone.
0:21.7	He is on a layoff currently and spends upwards of 10 hours a day on his phone.
0:29.1	The way our finances are set up is he pays the mortgage and I pay for utilities, groceries,
0:35.1	etc., including the cell phone. And tonight I am going to let him know that I am no longer
0:41.5	paying that bill if he's going to continue with his addiction.
0:45.7	And I'm just looking for advice on the best way to present that for the best result.
0:53.3	What kind of a marriage has a split up of monies like that paying bills?
0:57.7	I thought when we get married we become one.
1:01.5	Nope, not us. We've always done it this way and it's worked out well so far.
1:05.5	And why why have you done it this way? It's very odd.
1:11.2	Well, it's I'm 45.
1:14.5	He's 52. We're older. This is the first marriage for both of us.
1:18.9	We've been married about a year and we've just always had our own money and our own things.
1:24.0	And I do the budget. I know what we both have in our accounts and I feel like I'm on top of it
1:31.3	and everything gets paid and it works out.
1:35.2	Well, it has extensions too. You both have never lived for somebody else before.
1:42.8	Neither one of you has. It's extended into the finances where that's also kind of like a business
