All right, good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights. We're going through the Bible.

Book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, line upon line, and we are currently going through

this amazing book of Isaiah. And tonight we are, Lord willing, going to complete two chapters again.

And we'll begin in chapter 56, and then, again, Lord willing,

we'll make it through to chapter 57. I know you already know what I'm going to say,

and I know that you're probably tired of me saying it, but I'm still going to keep saying

it. I am really looking forward to

what the Lord has for us tonight in these two chapters. Actually, I'll take you a step further

to say that there's something here I never really caught before or saw before. It's kind of like

the Holy Spirit. You know how it is when you're in the Word

of God and the Holy Spirit just opens up your eyes to the Word and shows you something,

just opens the passage up to you, and then the light bulbs go off. Well, that kind of happened

today and I'm really excited to share it with you. So why don't we pray and we'll

ask the Lord to bless our Bible study. Father in heaven, thank you so much. We're just so very

grateful to you for these Thursday night Bible studies. It really is a time for us in the middle

of the week, especially during this time of the year, where

we can just come together and put aside all the stresses and pressures and busyness of

our daily lives and focus our attention on you and fellowship together and study your word together and worship together.

That alone, just, oh Lord, it's just a taste of heaven.

And so Lord, you just want to ask your blessing on our time together in your

word tonight. These two chapters that we have before us, Lord, open them up to us. And in so

doing, show us what you want us to see and speak into our lives, that which you want us to hear, we ask.
