cleaning your house. Thanks for joining me. This is episode 102. And as usual, I'm going to talk you through cleaning your house from start to finish.

Now, the first thing you might want to do to gear up for your cleaning session is start some laundry.

If this isn't a day that you need to wash clothes, maybe you have towels to

wash, or maybe you could strip one of the beds and start washing your sheets or your comforter.

But now's the time to get that laundry started. And if you don't do laundry every day, there might be something else you could do right now.

Like maybe straighten up the front entrance of your home or something like that.

But a lot of us have a lot of laundry to do.

So I like to start the cleaning session that way. And then for those of you

who start a load of laundry at the beginning of the episode, I'll try to remind you at the end of the

episode to switch that laundry from the washing machine into the dryer. Once you get that laundry

going, maybe you need to do a laundry switch, which what I mean by that is obviously moving the stuff from the washing machine into the dryer.

Or maybe your washing machine's empty and you just need to start a load.

But while you're doing that, I wanted to tell you what the bonus chore is.

It's something that I just did today and that's

cleaning the laundry room. My house came with a shelf above the washer and dryer and over time,

that shelf sometimes gets cluttered. I think when people don't know what to do with something and they're

cleaning, they stick it on that shelf because there were some very random items up there. So what

I did is I went through and remove those random items, put those away, and just completely cleared off that shelf so that I would

have room for what belongs up there which is laundry detergent and spot removers and

whatnot so there had gotten I'm not proud of this but there had gotten to be so much

clutter up there
