Hi, Dr. Lower.

Hi.

I'm calling because I have custody of my 14 year old grandson.

Where is his parents?

Well, his mother has never really, she comes around, but she's always struggled with addiction problems with bad relationships with men with addiction.

So she's never really had custody of them.

My son had custody of the two kids during his marriage, but once he was divorced and by his self he couldn't manage and he turned to alcohol and other things.

So I stepped in and I had taken the kids off and on during the years without anything legal in place and I finally just got tired of it and took custody about four years ago.

So they have him and his sister have both lived with me solid for four years.

And seems as if I don't know the age, I guess the teen age.

My grandson has really got off track on me.

The disrespect, the bad grades, the, you know, I was just talking about the lack of...

I was, I was just talking about the lack of the father.

Yes.

Is your son, his father pulled his act together? Is he still a drunk?

I believe he's doing better. I don't think he's 100% there.

I do think you know what do you know is a fact? What do you know as a fact?

I know as a fact that he's holding a steady job. I know as a fact he's in a new relationship with a girl that has three children.

And that's all I know for a fact.

Are we shacking up with some broad with three kids?
