Mike welcome to the program. Hello? Hello, Mike. What can I do for you?

Well, I'm a 54-year-old father and grandfather, two grown kids.

And my son is 31 who's married and used to have two kids but their two-year-old son, my grandson, he

drowned in their backyard pool almost a year ago.

Oh no.

Oh no.

And you know.

And so there's also, so there's obvious grief among the family but there's also blame because of you know who

wasn't watching her and different things that happened but who was Well, who was supposed to be there?

I mean, what's the background on this?

Well, essentially her mom, her mom was watching, I'll just say all the kids because there

was cousins over there and basically, you know,

her mom was watching her and then or watching them and then next thing you know he was outside and climbed at the pool ladder and

and drowned. They couldn't find him for a while. But my daughter-in-law finally found him floating in the pool.

But, so moving forward, so, yeah, so moving forward, my daughter-in-law, you know, still has yet to talk to her mom, but, you know, that's kind of like that little symptoms.

So the blessings are we still have a, you know, I still have a four-year-old beautiful granddaughter, almost going to be turning five.

Other blessings are my son and my daughter-in-law and my granddaughter. They've gone to

church. They've becoming active in the church, you know, active in the community.

But the bad things, basically about a month and a half ago, when I went to go see them, she said she wanted a divorce.

And this was after they went on a marriage retreat

and learned her love languages.
