0:04.3	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be my girlfriend wants me to open up more emotionally.
0:12.6	I've got an email.
0:14.0	This is from a guy.
0:15.3	He says he's been following my work for almost two years.
0:19.4	And he says he's been through my book, 3% man, a number of times.
0:24.2	What that tells me after following me for two years, he's probably thumbed through it a few times,
0:28.3	but not really taking it seriously when I say you need to read it 10 to 15 times.
0:33.5	And so he's been with his girlfriend for 10 months.
0:37.1	And like a lot of guys that just simply don't listen and they're lazy.
0:41.6	They don't take the time to learn the fundamentals.
0:44.2	They learn the pickup skills and the dating skills.
0:47.5	And since they're hooking up, they're like, I got this.
0:50.6	I don't need to read the book 10 to 15 times like Corey says.
0:53.7	I'm special.
0:55.0	And then they get 10 months down the line and they don't know how to communicate with their girl effectively.
1:02.0	And when I do phone sessions with guys, there's always two reasons why their long-term relationships are not doing well.
1:10.0	It's either their girl doesn't feel
1:12.6	hurt and understood or they stop dating and courting them properly. The romance ended, in other words.
1:19.2	The complaint that women have is that men are romantic at first and then once they know they've got
1:25.3	you, then they stop dating and courting you.
1:33.4	And then you just want to sit at home and order, take out pizza and get a two-liter bottle of soda and watch a movie, Netflix and chill, and that becomes the routine.
