0:04.0	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be my girlfriend flirts with her exes and lies about it.
0:11.0	So I've got an email from a guy. He says he's 24 years old and he's been following my work for three years.
0:19.0	He's obviously very familiar with 3% man. And so he's been a
0:22.2	relationship with a woman for about a year now. And he's just found out recently that during the
0:28.7	first two to three months they were dating, which they weren't exclusive, that she had hooked
0:36.4	up with another guy. And this was, she hooked up with this other guy after,
0:40.8	even after Valentine's Day.
0:42.6	Obviously, if you're a guy and you take a girl out on Valentine's Day,
0:46.5	you're really into her, and she's special, and she means a lot to you.
0:50.3	So after that, remember, they're still not exclusive at this point. She goes and hooks up with another dude. And he didn't find out about it till just recently. And so about a month or so ago, he broke up with her because he caught her in several other lies, went no contact with her. She kept calling, begging, pleading, apologizing, saying she's going to change,
1:11.3	never going to happen again. They got back together, but at the end of the day, he still doesn't
1:17.2	trust her and for good reason. So we've got some interesting issues going on here with trust.
1:25.0	And so I got a quote that we're going to go through because he's wondering
1:28.4	what should i do should i stay with her or should i just break it off and go find somebody else because
1:34.1	early on in the relationship he was like in up until the last few minutes he's thinking this is love
1:39.2	my life i'm going to marry this girl and now all these things have happened and trust is the hardest thing to get and the easiest thing to lose. And so even though he's got back together with her and things, you know, she seems to be honoring what she said. He still doesn't trust her. So the quote says, character is destiny. People who lie to your face violate your trust and break their commitments to you,
2:02.6	are revealing their true character. Despite what people say, the only thing that matters is what they do.
2:09.1	People who value and take it as a personal point of pride to honor their words and commitments are
2:15.5	rare. If you know somebody is lying and they know you know
2:20.8	they are lying, but they still won't come clean and admit their lie, are not to be trusted.
2:31.2	So let's go through as you know he says, hey coach, I'm a 24 year old, and I've been studying your work for three faithful years now, and I've read how to be a 3% man at least 15 times.
