Around a year ago, my 30 female, younger brother, 27 male, let's call him Bill.

Proposed to his girlfriend, 26 female, will call her Lori, and they got engaged.

He's not a very open person, so we didn't really see it coming or no, he was planning

to do that. My now husband, 31 male, and I had been discussing getting married, and it was well

known among our families that we would be getting engaged soon. We had just had a baby a few months prior,

so we wanted to do it sooner than later. Both my husband and I had been talking to my sister,

28 female, we'll call her Sarah, to plan a proposal. Neither one of us realized the other was making
