So this is going to be a very special episode, a very special Christmas episode of my favorites.

But a lot of times it seems like just fun.

Hey, I'm going to write a list of my 10 favorite sitcoms.

I'm going to write a list of my 10 favorite heroes or my 10 favorite entrepreneurs, my 10 favorite movies or chess openings or whatever.

But two things are important about each one of these episodes.

One is what lessons? Why are they your favorites?

It can't just be because I like it.

It's important to learn lessons from the content you consume.

If Barack Obama is your hero or if Richard Nixon is your hero or if Neil Armstrong is your hero or Sarah Blakely is your hero, why?

What did they do that really made you think, oh, that's like a compass needle that I can start moving my life towards?

I've never seen anybody do like what Sarah Blakely did.

I love this aspect of her so I'm going to start moving my life in that direction.

I'll give you an example. One of my favorite movies is Shindler's List.
