but it just didn't seem like that was timely with everything going on here

in Western North Carolina.

I'm actually coming to you from Alliance Bible Fellowship,

where Samaritan's purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

are set up in response to just the devastating disaster of Hurricane Helene.

As many of you know, and if you have followed along for Fearless for a while,

it was two years ago this week that Hurricane Ian hit my home in Fort Myers, Florida.

And then here we are, my family just moved.

This is Boone, this is my hometown, this is where I grew up,

this is my community, these are the people I've known

since I was a child child and to see the images

slowly come into my phone. We don't have internet. I don't have TV so I haven't seen

much of the response or the reporting, but our community here has been devastated, and it's

heart-wrenching to watch some of these images and what people are going through.

As I'm sitting here today, just trying to think of what I was going to say here on

Fearless to be honest I was probably processing myself I probably haven't even

had time to process I'm the person that goes you got to do what you got to do in the

moment and the Lord gives you that strength when you need it, but I probably haven't had moment to process.

This devastation has been so widespread from this hurricane.
