Summary

Tonight’s guest, David Aldrich, has had two Sasquatch sightings. One happened in the fall of 1992. The other one happened in the winter of 93. When Dave had his first sighting, he was on an onramp, in Sarasota County, Florida, late one night. He was building up speed, so he could merge onto the freeway. He kept a safe space between his Thunderbird Super Coupe and the traffic around him, so he was under the impression he didn’t have to worry about hitting anything. He was mistaken. Cars and trucks weren’t the only things on that section of highway with him, as he soon found out. 0:17.6	I grew up in Venice, Florida, in Tacoma, Florida.
0:21.5	I'm a contractor living in Naples currently, I have my married, I have three daughters.
0:26.3	I had two encounters back in fall of 92 in winter of 93, and I'll tell you a little bit
0:34.6	about that.
0:35.6	This up a little bit, why I was traveling, this happened at night.
0:40.5	I was headed to Miami, I was a dive master, and I did a lot of diving back then in between
0:45.4	college and grad school, and I was heading to Miami, and I did a lot of night driving
0:50.5	on the interstate, and that is where these sightings took place.
0:55.7	So I had two sightings both within a mile of each other, and I grew up, as I said, in
1:00.8	Venice, Florida.
1:01.8	This took place in Sarasota County, I'm going to date myself here a little bit.
1:05.5	So back in the day, the interstate used to be different, it wasn't the mileage, it's
1:09.8	just straight digits for the exits.
1:12.2	So the first encounter took place at exit 35, which was the Venice Enramp at the time,
1:20.8	and the interstate was much different than it is now.
1:23.7	There were only two lanes and a half of a lane when you had a bad tire or something to
1:29.6	be able to sit in the grass.
1:31.6	So it wasn't as wide.
