One decade later, my high school slash college ex's mother decided to message me after

a decade.

Funny enough, I last saw her in 2013.

She hugged me and said thank you for keeping her son on the straight and narrow during

college.

I'm now happily married with an adorable toddler and I haven't even had a thought about

this woman.

Guess I've been living rent-free in her head for the last decade though.

Also, given her son nearly killed me by crashing into a cement wall at 60 miles an hour, while

screaming at me, which broke my ribs, burned my leg from the engine coil coming into the

passenger area, and required two back surgeries in my final year of college, I'm pretty sure

I dodged the bullets.
