So I finally asked if we could take the weekend and be sober and talk again on Monday and have a clear conversation. He, of course, went out with someone else, and I got a call from his sister that night saying he hadn't come home yet and asked if I was with him because he told her I would be. I said no. And after a lot of chaos, I got him home and went over to talk to him the next day,

because at this point he was never going to stop for at least a day. I sat down as he cried,

cried every time I had to remind him what he did. I said as much as I care about him, I don't want

this from my life, so I'm okay if he wants to be this person.

I just can't stay around. He quit cold turkey that day, three months into our relationship.
