Amen and amen and good morning and welcome you can be seated so glad you're here

trust that you'll be blessed that you came those of you joining us online the same

we're blessed that you're joining us and trust that you'll be blessed as well we're

gonna get right to it we're in the last chapter of the last book of the Bible.

And today's text is going to be just the first five verses of the last chapter, chapter

22.

So I know you just sat down, I don't want you to have feelings like you're

in a Catholic church, but would you stand back up again for the reading of God's word? If not,

no worries, it's cool. Where you're seated is fine, only five verses. John is going to

continue now to write as he was commanded

to by the Holy Spirit what he's shown. And he says verse 1, then the angel showed me the river

of the water of life as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the land.

Down, verse 2, the middle of the great street of the city, on each side of the river.

Use your God-given imagination here.

Stood the tree of life bearing 12 crops of fruit yielding its fruit every cycle. Now some of your translations

might render it month in the original language it is better understood as cycle.

And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Verse 3, no longer will there be any curse.

The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city and his servants will serve him.

They will see his face.

And his name will be on their foreheads.

There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun for the Lord God will give them light and

they will rain forever and ever.
