I'm 11. Kim welcome to the program. Hi, Dr. Laura. Thanks for taking my call. Thank you. So you helped me raise my three daughters. So I figured it was time to call you because I have a problem with one of them. So how old give me a lot of background. Give me a lot of background.

Okay, okay. My husband and I've been married for almost 41 years. We have three daughters 32 33 and 40. I have two grandsons.

Three and six. The middle daughter of the 33 year old has the two grandsons. So the problem is with her right now.

She we went to my father last funeral in January. The weather was horrible. We live about two hours in the funeral. They live about four hours from where the funeral was being held.

I rented a house for us to stay in so we could all be together and they wouldn't have to worry about someone watching the kids and doing all that.

The funeral was on Thursday afternoon. The weather was horrible. There were multiple roads closed because of snow ice flooding all types of things.

And after the funeral, well, that morning they announced that they were leaving right after the funeral to go home because they had gotten like 24 inches of snow at their house.

And they wanted to go home. Now mind you, they had somebody living at their house for the weekend while they were gone to watch their dogs and their other animal.

So they insisted on going. We asked them not to go. We said there's no reason nobody's going to school. Nobody's going to work. We have the house for one more day. Just stay.

There was no arguing. There was no fighting. There was, you know, we cornered my daughter and said, do you think this is a good idea? And she said, no, I don't, but he insists on going. Her husband insists on going. She said, so I think we'll go.

Well, we said, please let us know. Please keep us, please keep in contact with us the entire time. She did. She texted me. She let me know when they got home.

They got home safe took them seven hours to get home. And she spoke to me for another week after that sent me texts. We talked about the kids, all kinds of different things.

Then all of a sudden I got radio silence. And I couldn't figure out what was going on. And I'm like, she wouldn't take our phone call. She wouldn't let me talk to you know she didn't text me back. Nothing was happening.

And so I finally, that was in January. So in the middle of February, we got an email from her telling her telling us her grievances.

So, and I've tried everything from texting, calling. I've tried sending notes. I've.

You can stop that. I've heard that four million times. I've done everything here. What were hurt you. Would you be a kind of to read the grievance email to me?

Yes, absolutely.

Let's see, there are a few major things that need to change and be a dress. The first is the way you treated me and my husband at grandpa's funeral. You sitting at the table,

reading to talk to us, waiting to talk to us when we came home through the store like we were teenagers missing curfew, cornering me at the funeral without Dylan.

And then dad pulling Dylan aside all, all out of line. We are adults and Dylan and I make the decisions for our family. Once we got married, you two no longer get a say in how I run my life or the decisions I make with my husband.

Your behavior was completely undermining and you overstepped. Secondly, the general overstepping behavior you constantly display by blowing up my phone, insisting I be somewhere with my whole family when I already had plans and not taking no financials unreasonable.
