I have a question in regards to our 14 year old daughter. She currently work part time and is on the softwell team at her eighth grade middle school.

My question being do I encourage her to find balance on the weekend and still do social outings with friends and still work part time or do I allow her to just work every Saturday and Sunday as she has been choosing to do some softwell started about three weeks ago.

And what is she doing with the money, by the way?

She's open to savings account. She keeps a small amount of money in her pocket for incidentals and things she likes to buy herself better non essential that her father and I don't provide like expensive retractable pencils and beauty products and all kinds of fun stuff at 14.

And she donate to a local animal shelter where we rescued our people from.

And you would like her to take some of that mentality and throw it away and doing stupid stuff at a mall with some other silly girls.

It is and I'm just I guess because I just don't want her to miss out not that I don't want her to work.
