Hi, thank you for taking my call. Thank you. What can I do for you?

Well, my daughter is a, she's a young adult. She's graduated from college. She's married.

She is also recently inherited a pretty good amount of money. And they are just, you know, trying to decide on a house. She and her new husband.

And her, we, I, we feel like my family, her parent, you know, her side of the family feel like we have just protected them for making about a half a million dollar mistake because they had made an offer on a home that just had so many problems and issues.

That it would have been a total disaster. And they don't have the experience or the knowledge to know that.

But they are not willing to take any other advice besides her husband's father who has the experience of purchasing one home.

Whereas like my sister, her aunt is a real estate investor and has purchased 13 home.

So we just have a problem because he's making these decisions, but it's not his money.

And I don't feel like she's anybody is looking out for her interest in protecting her.

Have you asked her if she thinks she needs protection or if she wants protection?

Well, you know, she, she, I guess she's okay with letting her husband make these decisions. She says it's going to be their decision, but I did speak with them.

And you gave your opinion, she's a married woman.

Right. Sometimes you mothers don't know when to stop.

I know it's hard.

Yeah, but that way you kind of lose your daughter if you push too hard to make her feel incompetent.

And just trying to protect her.

You're making her feel incompetent as she told you to stop giving advice as she told you that.

Yes.

So I mean, I'm not.
