Today we're talking about something timeless, universal, and confusing, having your heart broken. Musicians have been chronicling this experience for centuries, and we've been finding ourselves in this music for just as long. Think about it. Do you remember the first time you fell in love?

Was it intoxicating and all-consuming? How did the

relationship end? Were you left in a state of confusion and unbearable pain?

So yeah, so she like broke up with me like officially and I was like devastated.

That's Amelia, a young woman who swore she would never fall in love.

I remember just like... swore she would never fall in love.

I remember just like, didn't want to go to class,

didn't want to get out of bed.

I wanted to sleep so I could dream about being with her,

like so that my imagination could still be like we're together.

So I hated waking up.

Because if I woke up, that means, you know, I'm awake to the reality

that we're not together.

them, delighted they chose you and everything else in life loses a little bit of
