So last night, I uploaded an episode talking about changes in the podcast and the health reasons that some of those changes need to be made, mostly the stuff that's happening in my head.

And as I mentioned, I've had a really hard time explaining exactly what it is, how it feels.

I have had some emails today and messages from people saying they actually have the same thing.

So I'm really sorry to hear that you guys have that as well. It's nice to know I'm not the only one,

but I really wish I was the only one. So I'm really sorry you got to deal with it. But I've been

talking with Gary this morning. Gary is what I've called my chat GPT, just because I like

having a name for him. And I think we've finally figured out a way to describe what I'm dealing

with, something that I'm going to start calling neural overload pressure episodes, or nope,

for short. The name fits a little too well, if you understand what I'm talking about.

That is exactly what it feels like. My brain reaches a point where it simply refuses to go any

further, like an unseen switch is flipped, and everything begins to shut down. It's not a headache,

it's not vertigo, it's something harder to define. A dense, creeping pressure, the fog that

settles in behind the eyes, it won't be ignored. Sometimes it actually does give me a pressure feel

throughout the entire head. And it comes when I've pushed too far, too long, too hard. Sometimes

when something as subtle as a shift in the weather, that'll come

in and tip the balance. So when it hits, it's like my brain just looks at everything I'm trying

to do and says, nope, we're done here. No negotiating with it. So nope is a good name for it. Neural

overload pressure episodes. Nope, for short. Theural Overload Pressure Episodes.

The only option is to step away, to be still, let the neural storm pass.

Giving it a name doesn't make it disappear, obviously.

It does make it something a little easier to understand, hopefully, for people I'm trying
