feeling very good yeah excited yeah i'm working it for a long time. I've got a lot of hell. People are like, I only dropping a debut album now. But I feel like the culture in the UK is very different. And I've dropped like about this is my fifth project. I've dropped two mixtapes and two EPPs. So I've put out projects, but they just haven't been called out.

what is the, what would you classify?

Because I think I've been hearing different things.

What do you classify as an album versus like a mixtape?

So we've come a long way, yeah, from the original titles, like where it comes from. So back in the day, a mixtape was actual cassette tape, which obviously you don't use anymore. And then an album was just the name for an LP, which is a long playlist. And then the EP is a short playlist, which is less than 30 minutes. Okay. So for me, there's not really much of a difference because we don't really use tapes anymore, right? We're all listening to things digitally. Yeah.

But what I would say in rap, mixed tapes are a bit more,

it's not as thought through.

It's like laid back, you can just put a bunch of songs together.

It doesn't have to have a narrative.

It doesn't have to be cohesive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, music heads.

I thought that mixed tapes also you would use beats of other people. Black covers. Yeah. So yeah, back in the day probably you would like a, like a not bootleg, but you know people will shot CDs and it will be you like little waiting, sorry, on bare different beats that are not his. But nowadays people don't really do that. If you don't have the rights, maybe put on SoundCloud or something.

But a mixtape can be original music.

It's just like a mix of songs. Yeah. Yeah. So that's the difference. But album's supposed to be like cohesive. Yeah. Audio of work. Like when you listen to it as a whole, you get it. Like you get a whole narrative. Yeah. So what made you go for the name South London Girl?
