My boss laughed about cutting my pay, but I got revenge.

I had so much respect for my manager until I realized she's a flying monkey to our CEO and possibly a self-absorbed person herself. People started leaving after a court case was revealed last year, and I keep having to

remind myself that their treatment of me wasn't just because they were overwhelmed.

And OP says, the passive aggression and subtle put-downs became too much. It felt like psychological

warfare and I had to convince myself, I wasn't crazy. When my pay was decreased and I requested

clarity with number breakdowns, it was like a switch flipped. My review was suddenly moved up, per my request, and HR was added to the meeting.

It's also the little thing.

The past couple of weeks, my manager asked me to edit a document, then sent me a different

template two or three times, saying she changed her mind, seemingly just to waste my time.
