I've been best friends with Alex, male 29, since college.

We've always been there for each other through thick and thin.

About two years ago, he introduced me to his girlfriend Olivia.

I got engaged last month and I was thrilled for them.

Last weekend Alex and Olivia invited me over for dinner at their place.

After the meal, Alex had to step out to take an important work call.

Olivia and I were alone in the living room, chatting about their upcoming wedding plans.

Suddenly, she moved closer to me and confessed that she had developed feelings for me over the past few months.
