Hopefully the week after Bidnanda but I wanted to just further reflect on a point in the

meantime from the Khutbah yesterday and someone reminded me and said that you said that you

would do a series of Abu Bakr and Omar al-Di'Allah al-Sahada on them and their interactions

with one another and it really is a beautiful, beautiful, you know, relationship that you

start to unfold when you look into it.

Because if you think about Abu Bakr and Omar al-Di'Allah, please with them, you are talking

about the two greatest people after the Prophet ﷺ in this Ummah and the fact that between

the two of them you can actually see what brotherhood looks like and Subhanallah sometimes

when we talk about our Messenger ﷺ and we talk about his relationship with his spouses

and we say, you know, it happened in that we can take lessons on how to be wonderful

spouses and we can also take lessons from the Prophet ﷺ on how to navigate an argument

or a disagreement with your spouse and when you look at the relationship between these

two great men, may Allah be pleased with them, you see all of that, all of how to navigate

the things that come between two brothers and how they were able to overcome those disagreements

at times and to still be the right hand and the left hand of the Prophet ﷺ and it's

just one thing that I think about with the Messenger ﷺ when he looked at Abu Bakr

and Omar, may Allah be pleased with them and he said, these two are as Sam'u wa l-Bas'ah.
