The half hour pilot is the franchise, and it follows a hopeful crew trapped inside the dysfunctional nonsensical joyous hellscape of a franchise superhero moviemaking.

You heard it here correctly, folks.

The creator of VEEP is parodying comic book movies, per variety, quote, according to an individual knowledge of the project Sam Mendes.
