research. And honestly, I don't do enough self-reflection, let's call it, on the content,

since I'm always creating new episodes, Ellie in a minute and in a minute with Evan Lovett,

just like Los Angeles, always thinking about the future and what's next,

instead of looking backwards and maybe appreciating it a little bit.

But a recent episode I just finished had a fact that was so cool, so unique, and honestly,

it was borderline unbelievable that it inspired this episode.

So I decided to compile a list of my top 10 favorite facts about LA.

So without further ado, hear my top 10 favorite facts about LA.

I don't know. All right, y'all. Let's get into it. As usual, we start with something that happened in L.A. this week, which I already told

you I was doing that episode, but even more so, there was a huge discovery of a 9 million-year-old

fossil deposit under San Pedro High School.

San Pedro, yes, I always wanted to say San Pedro because I was a San, I was a Pedro Guerrero fan,

but asked locals, it's Pedro.

So, nine million-year-old fossils found under an LA USDA school,

including Magalladon, the largest shark in the earth's history and something called a saber-toothed

salmon. Now that in itself is awesome. But what makes this astounding and a good fact is that most of LA used to be underwater.

That was something that I found in my research on that story.

And the coastline was 50 miles inland.
