This episode of the show is with barrel racer, Jordan Bassett-Kircher. This Arizona cowgirl grew up in the horse industry. Her family has been in the horse business for decades. Her granddad was a world champion team roper in the 40’s. Her dad is a legend in the sport of quarter horse racing; winning the All-American Futurity and training some of the house-hold names in the quarter horse world. Her brother has now began to create his own legacy in the sport as well. Her mom trained colts and like most moms and wives in the horse business has played a large role in the horse operations. I detail this all to highlight the many similarities in Jackie's and Jordan’s childhood growing up on the track and learning their craft from amazing horseman. Jordan (Rock’n Barrel Horses) has continued the legacy of her family's winning ways in the barrel horse arena. Still a young trainer and competitor, Jordan has found success on many different horses that she has trained. We talk about Cocomo Jo, Mimis on Firewater, and others she’s trained as well as her current crop of colts. We discuss her upbringing in the sport, her favorite Oxy-Gen Equine products, and much more. It was a great convo with an extremely savvy young horsewoman. We hope you enjoy it!
