Howdy!

On this episode of the show, which we recorded from our living room while watching the NFR, we discuss the first 4 rounds of the NFR and all the excitement around that. We also discuss the 2018 Barrel Futurities of America World Championship that took place for the Oklahoma City last week. The last one for the the foreseeable future as the event moves to the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK next year. It was a fun conversation interrupted with rodeo action. We managed to fit some practical horse knowledge in there too! Hope you like it!

0:00.0	What's up? Welcome to Married with Horses. I'm Lane Outslaw. I'm Jackie Outslaw. We are sitting here in our living room watching the NFR round five. And we decided we do a podcast, not really like a live NFR podcast. We just figured we wanted to watch the NFR and do a podcast, so why not? I think it might distract me. I know it's going to distract me. There's no might about it. The first bearback rider just started bucking.

1:12.5	seen him like four times is he on your team uh no but he is my pick no i don't my boy my boy Casey but
1:20.1	i didn't get you on my team i mean i love haley kensel too but you were too expensive i had 10 000
1:25.2	and will low was 15th actually 16th i have have Ivy Conrado and we were kicking ass and then we hit a barrel. Dang it. Dang it, Ivy. But she's okay because she's like, I think Haley's. Seventh and she's eighth. I don't know. I don't know. She might. she's, she's up there fast.
1:44.9	So I got,
1:45.3	so no more hit barrels. Give her a little pep talk here. We'll talk more about the barrels here a second. Okay. So I got Will Low, because I had $10,000 and the bearback. I got Willow too. Yep. And obviously I love, he's doing good. A big Will Low fan. always have been One of my favorite bearback riders ever. He's hanging in there. He could pull off a round wind. That'd be real good on Pink Knight here. That dude almost got bucked off, but he made it unless he slapped him. Funny thing about Will Lowe. Will actually came into the NFR 16th this year. This year. 15th in the NFR.
2:18.9	I don't even know if he was 15th, but somewhere down the line was J.R. Vazane, who broke his
2:25.0	back the last weekend of the rodeo season.
2:27.4	So currently he is paralyzed from the waist down.
