Welcome Back!

Our 4th and final conversation from last weekends 2018 WPRA Finals in Waco was with our GREAT friends, Carey Benton and Carissa Bryant. We’re just a few months into this and we’ve had some of the biggest names in the sport of rodeo and barrel racing on the show already. While that has been all good and exciting, we’ve had a few folks asking us to have on some “normal” barrel racers or maybe someone that your everyday weekend barrel racer can relate a little more to. Well, we decided to have on some NOT SO “NORMAL” BARREL RACERS. Why are they different? Because they’re part of our tribe. They’re women who keep Jackie focused and level headed when she wins, positive when she loses, and are ALWAYS at the other end of the phone when we need something. These ladies are WAY more than just barrel racers to us. They’re tribe. They’re friends. They’re family. Jackie wouldn’t be able to do what she does or be the woman she is without these (and a few other) women in her life. The conversation was originally meant to be light hearted and fun (which it still was, at times), but morphed into a little more serious and REAL. We think that’s why folks listen to our podcast. It’s REAL. It’s life. We don’t sugar coat a damn thing. We’ve all dealt with garbage times in our life and overcoming those make us who we are. We love these girls and we think you will to!

0:36.9	every year should be something well well, we're at 25. We made something. I mean, for us, even, like, when we're married 25 years, we're going to be almost 80. Sorry, 50 years. We're going to be almost 80. That's crazy. Yeah, but we're at 25. So we're good. You're missing the point. Yep. 25 episodes strong where.

No. That was an intro. That was zero. And then one question and answer that we actually counted as an episode. I'm going to turn your microphone off.

1:30.3	It's with Carrie Benton, one of Jackie's best friends grew up with her and her really good friend, almost like her sister, Carissa Bryant.
1:39.8	Jackie's known these girls since they were high school rode in line.

1:43.9	They were sister-in-laws for a while. That's right. And that's how they got to be close. Carrie works with Carissa and Carissa's family. Carissa's family has been in rodeo for years and years. We talk a little bit about her mom, Tudor, who's barrel race for years, who got in an accident about a year ago year and change ago and has since been paralyzed
2:03.2	and been dealing with a bunch of just garbage a bunch of awful stuff that she has to deal with
2:08.5	because of that and we discussed how life can change in just a matter of seconds 15 to 17 seconds
2:13.8	17.5 seconds and the negative part of that only happened in the last half a second. Life can change so quickly. And we discussed that a little bit. Honestly, we went and had some on the border after we, after both you guys made your second runs at the WPRA finals and didn't do exactly as good as you'd like, had a couple drinks, and we're going to come back and

2:36.9	We laughed and said, someone, someone sent in a request for, we appreciate you bringing
