Good evening everyone, my name's Gail, I'm an alcoholic, that is still a long walkthrough

from there and I'm not doing any darrel actions until I put this on video, so that's what I'm

doing.

Welcome to anyone who's visiting tonight and a special welcome to anyone who's new in

the rooms of alcoholics anonymous tonight, especially road to recovery, if you're struggling

or if you're returning, because I had the privilege on choosing to celebrate my tenth

happy, sober birthday and I walked in these rooms, you and afraid, I'm wondering what

I was doing, how I could change, what would be here for me, what's at the right place,

and I can assure you that if you are an alcoholic and the type that's been described tonight

by the three speakers, allow a colleague of the type that I am and as is described in

the basic text of alcoholics anonymous, recovery is guaranteed.

There are promises in that book and they come true and that is why I can tell you with

absolute authority that, you know, it's worked for me a day at a time and the years don't

matter, it's just the fact that it is a day at a time, I couldn't imagine being sober

for any length of time, but it has worked and it's guaranteed and those promises are here

for you. And, you know, I'll get the Oscar bit over, I'd like to make thanks to two people

who really, really are important and have been in my life and brought me to this point and
