Okay, forward slash Black Friday. What's going on, Lions fans?

Welcome to Before the Rory, your preview podcast over here at Pride of Detroit.com,

where we take a look at the Lions' upcoming opponent and break down with the both the offense,

the defense, need to do in this game in order for the

Lions to get a win, as well as talk about some X factors. And at the end of this, give our

score predictions for the week. Morgan, last week, the Lions suffered a loss to the Green Bay Packers

on Thanksgiving, pushing their record to 7 and 5 on the season. And the Lions are at a point

now where it is a little bit of desperation in terms of

what their playoff chances are going to look like.

But I think a lot of people will agree when it comes down to their matchup this week

against the Dallas Cowboys, this is a game that they kind of need to win to at least

keep those hopes a little bit more alive.

I won't say like completely alive, but just like

without the need of too much outside help, right? Yeah, it's not ideal to have a must

win game in week 14, but it is what it is at this point. It's just, it's how things have shaken out,

man. Like the lions are a couple bad breaks away from potentially being, you know, nine and three.

And that's just the nature of football, to be honest.

A lot of teams can probably say that.

But, you know, just wanted to give context.
