In this lesson, you'll learn how to use a sentence pattern for requesting that someone refrain from doing something.

The pattern for requesting that someone refrain from doing something has three elements.

First comes the adverb don't.

Which is, no. Second, the verb in the present

subjunctive, park, conjugated in the second person singular form. Estaciones. Third, the compliment,

your car here. To car here. Altogether we have, don't park your car here.

No estaciones your car here.

No estacion is your car here.

The pronoun will not be necessary as the verb conjugation will demonstrate to whom you're talking.

First you start with the word don't, to request someone to refrain from doing the verb that follows it.

After the verb, add more details of what they shouldn't do or why.

So remember that to request that someone refrain from doing something,

first use the word don't,

plus a verb in the present subjunctive,

and add a compliment for more details.
