Welcome to the Ring of Fantasy football show. My name is Danny Heifetz. I am joined by Danny

Kellen, Craig Coralback. We're going to go through waivers and everything you should

out of your team this week, but let's be real. We all know why everyone's here. Derek

Henry, broken foot, Jones fracture, fifth metatarsal on his right foot. We all know how the

metatarsals go. He is going through surgery. He's going to go on injury reserve. They're saying

six to ten weeks, six is on the very optimistic side. He's probably not playing again in the regular

season. There's an outside chance he can turn for the playoffs, but fantasy-wise, Derek Henry

has probably done for the season. This feels like the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs, doesn't

it, Craig? It really does. It's really, really a big bummer. This feels different than,

you know, McCaffrey missing weeks here and there over the last two seasons. It's just devastating.

Somebody who's going to set a record. He probably was going to. He was already setting records.

It's awful. And what's even worse in fantasy is he can't be replaced as other guys could.

If you look at the other guys who get drafted in the first round at the running back position,

somebody like Christian McCaffrey, we've seen Mike Davis and Chuba Hubbard somewhat fill in,

you know, do 70-80% of what they can do. Calvin Cook has Alexander Madison who fills in nicely.

Zeke would have Tony Pollard. Aaron Jones would have AJ Dillon. When Camaro would get hurt,

Latavius Murray would do a good job filling in. Derek Henry is such a unique player that it's

impossible to replace even the 80% of him, which is why this sucks so much.
