Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here for another wild day today.

We've got news of course on the Twitter acquisition going to spend most of the episode on that.

But we've also got news on parts for Tesla vehicles.

Tesla has made the decision to remove ultrasonic sensors from the Model 3 and Model Y and

eventually the Model S and X.

So primary two topics today will start off with Twitter looking at the stock first though

Tesla today actually recovering quite a bit in the face of a strong macro environment

that has decked up 3.3% Tesla earlier in the day was up about 5% and of course around

noon eastern time we see this big dip as this Twitter news started to break Twitter stock

around that time jumping up 20% stock halted trading and then resumed and now we're pretty

close to the offer price.

So I don't know I don't know what to say on the stock.

I think we'll talk more about that in a second in terms of the implications going forward

and the financing of this deal and things like that.

But just to start off with what we know so far this is a 13D that was filed with Twitter

today with the SEC today from Elon Musk says that they are on behalf of Elon Musk notifying

Twitter that the reporting person intends to proceed in closing of the transaction contemplated

by the April 25th merger agreement.

On the terms on subject the condition set forth there and in pending receipt of the proceeds

of the debt financing contemplated thereby provided that the dollar or chance to record

enter an immediate stay of action Twitter versus Musk and adjourn the trial and all proceedings

related there to pending such closing on further order of the court.
