Hey everybody Rob Maurer here and today we are discussing the scheduling of Tesla's

0:11.0

second quarter earnings report and shareholder update, as well as

0:14.2

Elon Musk's comments at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference yesterday.

0:18.6

Tesla stock on the day today did finish up 2.1%, closing at an all-time high of $1,394.28, so not the all-time high that it's reached,

0:28.0

but the all-time high close.

0:29.4

That compared to the Nasak up half a percent on the day.

1:06.4

Anyway, back in Q3 of 2018, Tesla shifted their reporting up by one week and they have followed that cadence pretty much except for that first

1:12.9

quarter of 2020. That cadence for non-year-end quarters is the Wednesday of the third

1:18.0

full week after quarter end and it's the fourth full week after quarter end for the year end quarter or cute four.

1:24.0

The reason I'm spending time on this is because sometimes if earnings reports are scheduled early

1:28.0

that means the company has good news and they want to get it out as soon as they possibly can.

1:32.0

So some people are taking that as yet another sign that maybe
