The Little Fir Tree wants to be as useful and important as the other trees in the forest and wonders whether she might become a boat or paper for books. One day, she is dug up out of the ground and has an exciting adventure as she becomes a reusable Christmas tree! Musicians from the BBC Philharmonic are joined by Molly Rainford and guest trumpeter Sean Chandler to share a musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's famous story.
