Hello there. Welcome to another edition of the Music That Matters podcast here at KeeXP. And my name is Abby. You can find me haunting the overnights on Wednesdays 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. And I was so excited to join Midday Show host Shera Waters and our digital content manager, Dusty, on an epic trip this past spring to Spot Festival in Arhus, Denmark.

And this festival was first founded in 1994.

It began as a local music event that's grown so much over the last 25 years.

And it hosted early performances from acts that you are probably familiar with,

including Siguross, the Raven Nats,

Moom, Junior, Senior, and More. And it features the best of Nordic talent from Denmark,

venues and Spot Festival was not lacking. And we had so much fun running around, discovering

new music to bring back to you. One of the first acts we saw was Danish singer-songwriter Yalta Ross. He just dropped his debut LP

Emboddy, and it was amazing to see him take the stage. He brought his guitar, sat down,

and then this semicircle formed around him, this five-piece backing band that added an amazing energy to his songs.
