So a couple years ago, we did an episode about the Me Too movement and major revelations that arose out of that movement.

For people who don't know, Me Too began as a phrase back in 2006 by a black woman named Tarana Burke, but was repopularized by Alyssa Milano in 2017, who kind of took credit for the

movement. It exploded into a huge scandal that took down dozens of high-profile men across several powerful industries, mostly entertainment, who previously seemed untouchable.

And, Robin, looking back on it, I think we can in part thank Trump for the Me Too movement because it really was generated in response to, I think, his victory, him

winning the election because he was so blatantly like a rapist, right, a sexual abuser,

someone who was disgustingly discriminatory toward women and yet he still won such a huge

percentage of the white female vote.

He was accused of sexual assault, rape, and appropriate behavior by dozens and dozens of

women, I think over 40 last I looked.

Some of these women included his ex-wife and his former business partner.
