And welcome to the very first social distancing episode of Murder Dictionary podcast. We're really hoping this works out.

I really hope so. Otherwise, we'll be re-recording it like seven times before it actually works.

Oh, I really don't want that for us. I just realized that I am absolutely not an audio engineer.

Oh, yeah.

That's all I know.

That's become abundantly clear for a lot of podcasters.

So if you guys out there are still listening to podcasts, just know that behind the scenes we are scrambling to try and make things work.

What's insane to me too is like there's people out there.

This is what they do and they enjoy doing this.

And you are doing the Lord's work because this is just, it's all Greek to me.

Yeah.

If it's not intuitive, it's not something you're super interested in.

It is pretty challenging to figure out.

But we're going to do our best this week and hopefully the sound

quality is good and everything lines up and hopefully we'll be able to record future episodes like

this for the foreseeable future. I hope so. I don't think the pandemic is leaving us anytime soon,

at least not Los Angeles.
