This next story is about the live music scene in DC and Baltimore and the fact that a lot of prominent

artists are now bypassing playing in Washington, D.C DC to play at the revamped refurbished

CFG bank arena in Baltimore. Artists like Billy Eilish, Pearl Jam, Black Keys, they're all skipping DC and

playing Baltimore instead.

Why?

Well they they poured a ton of money into what used to be the Baltimore Arena that's had a

hundred names before CFG Bank Arena and apparently it's a really nice venue and

it's attracting a lot of big names. Now Kevin Durant's

investment company poured some money into it. Live Nation did as well. I think

Farel Williams, they're all investors in upgrading what used to be Baltimore Arena and it's now like

a hot spot for artists and DC is missing out on some artists because they're picking Baltimore over Washington.

Isn't it also because Washington, I mean cap one has capitals and wizards?

Part of it is the schedule

and you know the CFG Bank Arena doesn't have any

sporting events that I know of

I mean they might have minor league not professional

some sort of minor league sports there

that might have something to do it.

Yeah.

So I haven't been to this arena yet, but apparently it's getting rave reviews.

On the website, it says the number 10 worldwide highest grossing venue in the world is

CFG Bankerina in Baltimore. And how many does it hold? I think it holds about 14,000 roughly is the capacity?
