He has terminal cancer and was one of the first Canadians granted legal access to use psilocybin as a therapeutic to treat end-of-life distress.

Let's talk about it. Yeah. I was saying this to Thomas, our guests today, before you guys got here, Brian and what I was saying to Thomas was I am over the moon with elation to dive into this conversation in particular.

And I've been excited for this for quite a while.

Thomas, we're just going to dive right into it.

You, Thomas Hartle, you are one of the first and one of the only Canadians who have been granted the right to use psilocybin as a form of therapy to treat anxiety associated with end stage cancer.

Correct me. Is end stage cancer? Is that correct? Or like, I guess, like, stage four

cancer? Stage four. That is, uh, that is the deal. Yeah. Um, so, so if that went over anyone's

head, psilocybin, the other word that you could use for that is magic mushrooms. Uh, the,

the, the psychedelic, um, that grows out of the ground in patties of poop sometimes.

But Thomas, the reason I'm so excited about this is because I'm a massive advocate for the use of psychedelics.

I think that they, I think that they play or that they should be playing a much larger role

in society than they currently do for a number of different reasons. But this is one,
