Hey what's going on everybody welcome to the med-geeks podcast today we're going to be talking

and the reason being is him and his wife are actually having a baby.

So a big congratulations to Eric wishing him and his wife all the best but he will be

back in January and so what I thought

I would do is spend this month touching on cardiology. Now the reason why I

wanted to touch on cardiology is twofold. Number one, regardless of the type of student, whether you're

you take a setting for USMLE, whether you're a nurse practitioner student or a PA student,

cardiology is a big portion of your exam. Number two. a the board's for whatever reason 2019 has been a struggle for a lot of people and

we've been doing kind of private tutoring and we've realized that cardiology is a

major sticking point and we've realized that the valvular lesions are kind of

difficult to comprehend so it's my hope that with today's

lecture will shed some clarity. Now we're only going to be together for you know a

little bit of time we're not going to have time to go over everything but what are going to do, for those of you who want to dive a little bit deeper into

cardiology, we're going to be holding a free workshop and it's going to be on the high-yield

pearls, high-yield things that you need to know for your boards and it's going to be solely focused on cardiology.
