Hello listeners, I'm your host Amara, and this is Black Girl God, a true crime podcast.

On this episode of Black Girl Bond, we tell the story of Ticula Souter,

a 26-year-old woman was murdered on February 15, 2014, and Lakawana in New York.

The day she was found, Ticula was supposed to attend church, but when her friend arrived to pick

working at a local nursing home as a dietary aid, and then she later worked at a daycare.

Eventually, that passion led her to Lakhawana, where she moved and began working at Baker

Victory Services, where she worked as both a mentor and a counselor for the young people the program

church community. She led praise and worship and danced, and of course, because of her love for
