On this episode of Black Girl Gone, I tell the story of 29-year-old Patrice Wilson from Detroit, Michigan, who disappeared on May 13,

2003.

Patrice was a nurse and a mother who had just finished an overnight shift at a Detroit hospital

when she disappeared.

Security cameras would later capture a man approaching her car in the parking lot, a man wearing a disguise.

Moments later, Patrice was kidnapped. By the next day, she would be found dead.

What happened to Patrice wasn't random, was personal. And when her killer is identified,

the family of another woman

who disappeared over a decade before

began to wonder if the person responsible

for her disappearance

was closer than they thought.

This is Patrice's story.
