Her family and friends called her a “champion of the underdog.” She was always a voice for the quiet ones. Her close family and friends considered her to be one of the nicest people they knew. As a high school student, she even stood up to the principal when she felt that her friend had been wronged… and he apologized. In the summer of 2007, someone forever silenced the voice who stood up for so many. The beautiful, kind and smart aspiring teacher was found stabbed to death in her off-campus apartment.
