Summary

On Friday, April 15, 2022, Orsolya Gaal (51) went to see a show with friends and she stopped a bar in her neighborhood before returning to her home in Queens, New York.

Orsolya would never be seen alive by her husband and two sons again. Orsolya was stabbed around 60 times and her carotid artery and trachea were punctured. Her body was shoved into a large bag by her murderer. Police released eerie CCTV footage of a male figure walking away from Orsolya’s house, wheeling her body in the bag. The murderer got less than a mile before he dumped the bag and ran. Orsolya’s body was discovered just hours later by a dog walker.

Orsolya had been having a secret affair with her handyman, David Bonola, for years. On the night she died, she allegedly told David that their relationship was over. He was not happy. On April 20, he walked up to detectives investigating this case and said ‘I hear you are looking for me.’ David confessed to Orsolya’s brutal murder and is now in custody.
