We have a update in the news about Lee Boyd Malvo, the DC sniper case.

He was the younger of the two.

He was actually a minor at the time.

He's in the news again because they're talking about a recentencing for him.

Because as we've talked about many times in the past, the Supreme Court has deemed sentencing

minors to life behind bars unconstitutional.

Now that said, this is more of a formality or just the legal system going through its

motions because Malvo's being sentenced separately for each one of the shootings.

So instead of his other sentence, he's going to be recentenced and then given an amount

of years for each of these shootings.

And again, he'll probably end up staying behind bars for the rest of his life, but because

of the technicalities of our legal system, they have to recent and send.

Of course, this is making the news because it's upsetting a lot of people who think he's

got a chance that he might be let out.

But the chances of that, I think, are slim to none.
